Everyone keeps saying the end of the stock fuel rail is a -4AN. I went to Summit to grab one of those fuel presure sender adapters, but Summit is telling me my fuel rail is -3AN. I have stock 98 ls1 fuel rails, did they change sizes for different years? It sure looks like a -3AN.

The -4 fitting you have in stock, does it go from a 4 female to a 6 female or male or is it a 4 hose end? I'm trying to use as few adpt. as possible to keep it clean.

It depends on whether your talking about the external or internal threads of the fuel test port.

This is what the female schrader to female 1/8" NPT looks like:
