I need serious insight on 6l80e before purchasing I know this has been a topic since 2005, but lately there hasnt been much on some recent updates. Here's my situation, i have a 1998 Trans am ws6, and i have serious thought about purchasing both the paddle shifters and trans controller from a gentlemen for a little less than $600, and i have another gentlemen selling a 6l80e transmission, for $800, im having a real hard time trying to figure out if i should purchase them, and see if i could make it work. or to let sleeping giants lie, im hearing that its possible, but hearing more that its not. does anyone have any recent news whatsoever on this modification. any advice, insite, opinion (even though i might not like them) i want to hear.
