Bbody tranny swap question...
Alright, I just swapped a LT1/4L60E out of a '96 Impala into my buddy's '94 (he calls it '94.5, so I guess it has changes that I don't know about) Buick Roadmaster. We are using the wire harness from the Roadmaster.
It appears that the two tranny's use different vehicle speed sensors. The Roadmaster had it on the drivers side of the tail shaft, the Impala has it on the passenger side. Can you simply swap the sensors? Do you have to swap tail shafts?

Going to need to open the tranny up. I am not going to even try and go into detail but I know the 95+ trannies are PWM the 94 car is not setup for that. So you need to go into the tranny and modify some things. Look to someone else for details though.
Tailshaft housing swap is easy, do that.
