H/C car, 11.1 cr, Plugs ? I will be adding a set of TSP 5.3 heads to my car in the near future, I already have a 228r 112lsa cam. The heads will be milled to give me a CR of 11:1, my question is that I already have a new set of Tr55 IX plugs for the install, will these plugs be OK. The car will never see nitrous. I would like to keep the iridiums, but if I need to get a colder plug(TR-6) I will. Thanks for any reply`s

Thanks for the reply! That is what I have been hearing, maybe I will sell my plugs to Carlos so he can replace his plugs when he installs his new headers
. They should work fine for him, with just bolt ons and exhaust.

I'm @ 11.1:1 compression, mods in sig are similar to yours. I'm running TR55's with no problems & have been for over a year. Tune probably has a lot to do with it. TR6's for safety are not a bad idea, but I think the TR55's are OK. just my $0.02
