Having said that, you want to replace the entire set. I'm going to assume you have an LT4 chain and LT1 sprockets and want to just change the chain. The sprocket and the chains wear together, so why would you put a new chain on old sprockets? Not a good idea. Definitely replace both together.

No, the LT4 got a roller chain (the LT4ED is also roller). Stock LT1 is a link chain.
What is the point of changing the chain without changing the sprockets, anyway? They wear together.

The stock crank sprocket can only go on one way. Some aftermarket ones have additional keyways for changing the timing. Make sure you use the right keyway, if you have one like that. You will also have to use an electric water pump with a Comp DR set. Plus, if you are putting it on a 1993, you will have to convert to a vented opti.
