Default Whats a good wideband for tuning a carb?

Hey guys, what would be a good wideband for tuning a carb. No fuel injection yet, just for carb tuning. Would just a basic wideband guage work fine?

I have used my LM-1 on my '75 Caprice, up the
tailpipe with a coathanger. Only problem is having
12 feet of cable and 19-1/2 feet of car, I have
to walk back and forth between screw-tweaks
(setting the meter on the trunk lid). One fine day
I will weld a bung into the X-pipe. But for just
swapping rods and turning screws, it gets the job
done.

I mean if I got a basic auto meter or something like that would it be hard to watch it while going through the gears? Vs. one you could play back?

I would get a playback. you will never be able to see it good enough without it.
