Default my abs light and break light are constantly on

I cant seem to get them to turn off. my buddys suggestion was to disconnect the abs for 2 minutes so it will reset. Im having trouble disconnecting it. anyone have any other ideas?

car was dead and got jumped wrong(neg on positive) and once it was jumped right, it worked fine. just those 2 lights wont go off. i checked my fuses and theyre all good to go.

what year is your car?

on the older 4th gens if your 3rd brake light went out, it would turn those lights on

if yours is newer, it might be a wheel speed sensor

I was having the same problem, the third brake light thing did not work for me. I cleaned all sensors, bleed the brakes, added brake fluid, reset the system twice, checked all fuses. My lights are still on Im gonna have to give in and let the chevy house tell me what it is. I think my problem could be the ABS module.

The light is telling you where to look. However, it doesn't tell you exactly what it is. There IS a problem with the ABS. Whether it's in the module or one of the sensors, you don't know. Did you have it scanned?
