torque conv fluid...does trans provide via shaft?

torque conv fluid...does trans provide via shaft? I just finished bolting my 4L60E back in and realized I forgot to put fluid in the torque converter. The trans will pump fluid into the converter via the input shaft....right?

Right, that's already understood. ..the question is will the trans fill up the converter adequately when I only put about 1/5th of a quart in...everything is already bolted up....would like to avoid dropping the trans again if the trans is going to fill the converter...
