Default New mods- Pacesetter LTs, 2.5 true duals, Nitto drags and Magnaflow 4x9s and x pipe

Im told my 01 z28 is quick. Current mods are worn nitto 275/40/17s, ngk plugs, 373 gears,MTI lid, Fast Toys Ram Air, Ported Throttle Body. Never taken to track but before my fast toys kit(last mod) my Gtech times were 13.05-13.09 consistently but im lookin to go 12s. On a budget im adding the following parts and see what kinda time i can put down.

My parts are
used Pacesetter longtubes bought for 250
O2 extensions 35
magnaflow 4x9 mufflers 140
magnaflow x pipe 90
Nitto drag radials

Took on the install about 9 am on saturday. I installed a set of ebay headers on my 98 and was expecting the pacesetters to be an easier fit but they did require some modifications. Old parts came out in a couple hours by myself. passenger side went in easier without mods or removing plugs just the coil packs. Driver side i has to cut the block tab with a hacksaw(not fun) and bang the floor pan a little bit but it did go in. Install was done entirely by me. id say it was like 6 hrs. Even removed the air system to clean up engine bay and i must say it looks better. imo

Now that the headers are on, im just waiting on my x pipe to take to muffler shop to finish my 2.5" true duals. The estimate i got was about 100bucks with me bringing my parts and thats over the axle but no tips. Will try to take pics of the system and im looking forward to see how these parts will perform. ill probably gtech before and after my tune. what do u guys think my time should be?

install pics. Install shops price jumped from 100-125 with my parts which is what i was originally told to 300 and took 2 days. 1 day the car was untouched and he called me about 1 pm on he second day so it really only took like 4-5 hrs. Pics were taken with phone camera. As u can see i am not running an x pipe (which is now for sale). Reason being my installer told me it was way more fabrication and over 100 dollars more. My thought are that the car is very smooth and quiet at idle and screams at WOT. Does seem to have lost some low end torque but pulls harder at top end. Actually seemed a little sluggish and a little too quiet when driving around the first day. On day 2 car seems louder and a little more power. Is the computer learning the new exhaust or is this normal? any one else felt a similar feeling? I will be gteching in a few days to see the "difference" which is all i have to compare to.

Update. got the car drive tuned. deleted egr, air, rear o2s, and the usual adjustments. Car runs like a ****. Gtech time was 12.62 at 111. Car is noticeably faster off roll or dig. And that s because i think i need new plugs. Next mods will be plugs, wires, and maybe ported maf to improve throttle response even more. Even thinking about a 3500 stall which is almost being given to me and i will be dropping trans any way so i figure why not. Poss ibly lower control arms or a ud pulley. Thoughts and comments would be appreciated. No bashing

suspension should be i your next mod, that will drop your times even better! you already have the tires for it. Set up up with good suspension and that should get you into the low 12's espically with a 3500 stall

It was fabbed up at an exhaust shop and i wasnt there when they did it. There are a few bends and stuff i wasnt thrilled about it but it was the only shop in town that would do it.

i had that same setup on my 2000 z28, but i had 3" exhaust dumped at the axles. i loved those 4x9 magnaflows. those videos were right after putting them on. after a few hundred miles they REALLY opened up and got significantly louder than they were new. that entire exhaust setup is now on my buddy's car. he is trapping 130 with a cam and 175 shot in a full weight a4 car, so apparently crush bent true duals with those mufflers aren't *too bad.

the day of install.

in car when i was trying to diagnose a shifting problem..
