Default calc pushrod length

I have 8 turns on the checker to get 0 lash. How do you calc length?
I have Z06 LS6 heads, no milling, Cometic .040, and Comp 232/236 598/602 112 +2 cam. I was using the 7.35 rods before with the TSP228R and it was pretty quiet.

the checker should say how much each turn is worth. This will give you a certain length. Add it to the "unextended" length of the pushrod checker, add in the pre-load you want for the lifters, and that will be the length of pushrod you need to order.

It's okay to get it close, the pushrods usually come in easy to find increments of .025"

I usually like to shoot for .080 preload. With that I came up with 7.280 so a 7.300 would be great
