Question Do I need a tool to take off the oil pump drive and crank timing sprocket?

Can I take the oil pump drive and crank timing sprocket off without tools? or do I need a special puller?
Thanks

Some have used standard pullers. The required tool is available from that auction site for around $10.

Since I got the crank out now, can I just knock it off...with a brass punch and hammer and "punch" it off alternating sides of course?

I've done it with crank sprockets on 302's but never messed with a sprocket and oil pump drive....

If you plan to re-use, I would either use the correct tool or since the crank is out maybe a press. If I remember correctly, it is powder metal so driving it with a punch may render it unusable.
