dirrect fast 92 vs ls6 1/4 results!!
Well I don't have'em yet...sorry...but
I did just get a base line though. with the ls6 and a ported tb it made 403 rwhp, and i was able to get track results on a 60 degree day and a 5mph tailwind(new best btw)
So i just got my fast 92/92 in (non ported) and installed. Also during my last tune with the ls6 the injectors were maxed out, but A/F was still good at 13.2. So I also got the 42lbs injectors for the fast to supply enough fuel.
My re-tune is this next Thursday the 9th. so on that night i will have direct dyno comparisons on the same dyno sae corrected.
But we all know dyno numbers mean ****. what really matters is the 1/4 mile.
As soon as i can after the tune, whenever it is a compatible night as the baseline i will be going back to the track with no other changes except the fast and injectors/re-tune.
I would prefer the track conditions to be worse, no tail wind, so if i do still see a gain wit hthe fast, i know it was legit, sorry but i don't have a da meter.
I know i can't be the only one with back to back intake results? But i can't find anyone else who has tried it.

I figure it gained a solid 2mph and about a tenth and a 1/2
ptc stalls about 36-3800 brake stall about 2400 its a little tight for nitrous but it cuts 1.53 1.54 60ft every pass na . Gonna be adding a bmr extrem sway bar soon so it may do a 1.52 after that. car weigh 3580 with me in it

Your car is right there with mine. I just cut a 1.517 60' last time out and was wondering if my 60' would improve with the intake. With a 3600 vig. I would imagine with traction it may be better. I would love to do a 1.499.
Was your 413 with the fast/ or before. I dynoed 403hp 357 tq with the ls6/12 bolt/4l60e

Viper, are your heads the PRC brand that Texas-Speed sells? Your ET & MPH is crazy for the weight of your car. Does skinnies help that much? My setup is similar to yours (Prc 5.3, tv2, Fast 92, 3.73, 4000 stall) but my best et & mph is 11.45 @ 118.8 with stock chrome wheels.
Brad, I forgot to PM you my actual dyno numbers: 395 rwhp, 384 tq unlocked. This was before the SSRA adapter and Fasttoys 85mm lid.

Good numbers short. Skinnies up front ought to save you about 40 lbs total, and with that being rotating weight its worth more, usually 4 times more. so IF you tried to do the math 4 X 40lbs= 160lbs which equals 1.6mph or maybe .16 off your et. That may put you at 120.4 mph short.
Not including the rear tires if you get them, usually they aren't lighter, but the inertia is less from the 15 inch wheel vs the 16, so that may help out slightly as well.

Ok fellas the car picked up 21 hp all across the board.
I am very happy since it gained 21 with an auto and 12 bolt. Last numbers were 403 and my new numbers are 424 tq was up also from 357 to 380.
If i can figure out how to scan the graph i will.
Now alls i have to do is get my happy *** down to the track, but i can easily see a .15 off my et and 2-3 mph increase.

nice results I'm hoping for similar in the future
I dyno'd 401 and 370RWTQ through a 3600 Vig locked and with a LS6 intake and Ported TB
Im debating wheter to get a 92/92 ported intake for about $800 out of pocket or have the heads ported for 600 + 30 for a new set of head gaskets. Or I could finally add some gear to the car for about 600( car already 60's 1.59's NA with the nitrous converter)
I wonder where my money would best be spent?
Please update us with track results!
