Default Mismatching NANO systems and bottle size?

I could have sworn NANO had a kit to support 20lb bottles, but I suppose times change and now they only support 10 and 15... Oh well.

Can I use a 10lb NANO kit with my 20lb bottle? I know the initial answer is "NO, STUPID!" but what would the end result be? I think if I only get half the support the NANO kit was intended to provide (i.e, up to 175 HP vs 350 using the "universal kit" and 250 HP vs 500 when using the "competition kit"), then it's not so bad. I'm not in the mood to spray more than 150 or 175 anyway, I just want to spray for extended periods of time.

Is my thinking flawed?

We offer 20lb systems. They are on our web site (link below)

http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....ategory.546/.f

You cannot use the 10lb NANO system because there is not enough volume of air in the NANO bottle to keep up with a 20lb system. (This is why they are sized matched). The dome volume of the 20lb nitrous bottle is much larger than a 10lb nitrous bottle. It would be starving for air with the 10lb NANO bottle. So through the run your pressure would be around 800psi. Also there is not enough air capacity in the NANO bottle to get all of the nitrous out of the bottle.

Hope this helps

Brad

This is a 20lb System

Great! I must have been looking at the wrong site. On the universal kits where the "nitrous bottle valve [is] provided by [the] buyer," we're talking about valves that have the extra port for a pressure gauge, right?

Correct the Sport systems and the Competition systems come with bottle valves.
