Where to mount tranny cooler?
Where/how is the best spot to mount a tranny cooler? I wanted to mount it in front of the rad but then the lines won't clear. I mounted it on the back side below where my radiator supports mounts. I don't think it's getting enough air. It's running pretty hot. Thanks for any tips.

Don't put it in front of the radiator. As soon as I did that my temp would shoot right up to 210 as soon as the A/C went on. With the A/C off it never, regardless of how I drove it, would go above the 185 mark. It started the day I had it installed in front of the radiator. Its getting moved next week.

I mounted mine "Dope style." It mounts it parallel to the ground between the air dam and the front fascia (on the passenger side). I may not be the best spot, but worked well since I am running an FTRA and was therefore space limited. Under normal driving, my trans temps never get above 170-180. Stop and go for a while will get it up around 200.
