Default Question on minimum horizontal distance in T56 removal

I'm building a new chassis, and am mocking up motor and trans.
What is the minimum horizontal distance the T56 needs to move rearward to be removed. I have an X-member that is an obstruction.

I know the bellhousing is 5 7/8, but I am thinking that I clear the clutch at 3 1/2", I can then tilt it down.

Anyone have a good measurement?

Yes, once the 3.5" of the inputshaft, beyond the slave/TOB face, is pulled back the pilot will be free of the clutch/PP and able to come down.
