LS1 starts for 5-10sec's then shuts off
Hello my LS1 starts for about 5 seconds or so then shuts off. Would this be some kind of sensor not plugged in? I have a few connectors not plugged in and I can't find places for them to go. If anyone has a LS1 wiring harness layout diagram that would be awesome. Thank you

I got my PCM mailed to me. I told him it was for a rx7 swap and he said he has done them plenty of times. I didn't mention that to him because I was not aware of it but I don't think he would leave it knowing I have a swap. Then again it would be my fault. I found its a dark blue wire PIN 30 on the red connector... can I ground it out or... what?

If its programmed with an f-body tune (IE the computer originally came from an f-body) then you can bypass the VATS by building or buying a VATS bypass box. Theres directions in the FAQ sticky.
If the PCM was flashed as a truck, GTO, or vette tune, then it cannot be bypassed and must be deleted in the PCM.

I was told it is not the VATS system since it actually starts for a few seconds. I have discovered that my cam sensor is unplugged and have decided that is the problem.
Since I have my engine in the rx7 I have to extend the MAP sensor (first problem) and now I am going to have to extend the cam sensor connector. Since my PCM is under the carpet on the passengers side I have to do this.

Knowledgeable people here. You guys are right I plugged in the cam sensor and still runs for a few seconds then shuts off. Can i delete the vats with a scan tool or do I need to use something else? Or any other method to solve this problem?
