Default What heads fit on what engine????

I've tried searching...come up with nothing.

Will any ls3...l92 heads fit on a ls1 motor? Isn't the L76 a 6.2l also?

Can someone straighten me out lol.

go the gmperformanceparts.com and download their newest catalog, it has a lot of block and head information.

Yeah it was. He probably doesn't know what Google is. One of those in-bred mechanics who can't spell their own name.

i did a little research myself and found out that L92 heads wont work on any engine without a 4.0 bore. So they do work on an LQ4, but not the LS1. If you do the LQ4 you will need the intake to match the heads such as the L76. Plus in an throttle cable car such as an 4th gen you will need to convert the throttle body because the L92's and such are drive by wire cars. SLP sells all the stuff you need, but the kit comes with a cam and i'm not sure if that cam will work in the LS1 but you can probably call SLP and they could tell you.

L92's flow pretty much as good stock as cnc LS1 heads and they are cheaper. The thing is it might not be worth the trouble to do the whole L92 swap especially if you have a aluminum LS1. If you're doing a whole engine build with a LQ4 408 i would do the L92's and the L76 intake (which uses a 90mm tb), get the heads ported by your local guy and you'll probably make about 525 on the cheap. I'm comparing to assembled cnc'd heads like some trick flows for $2500, roller rockers $500, FAST 92/92 $1200. the whole SLP L92 kit is about $2500 (including a cam, intake, throttle body, cable conversion), then $1000 for a good port and polish. so $3500 for the L92's or $4700 for the ls1 stuff.
