Stock 4l60- Corvette servo already in it ?

Stock 4l60- Corvette servo already in it ? My tranny recently started to act up (slipping a little) so my buddy and i pulled the pan and turned the force motor up a hair to help with shift firmness, and when we went to install the corvette servo i purchased my tranny already had one in it............... Did the Z-28s and Trans Ams with 4L60s come with this upgrade from the factory with Vette Servos or has someone installed this at one time ? Just Curious
