New best cam only+shot
well after staying up all night wiring up the FJO and transbrake and everything else we headed to the track.
Made some motor passes off the brake with the new 400 and converter. on 18 degrees of timing it went 1.62 11.49 119. overall not to bad in the 80 degree heat.
After we set up the FJO and head out, nitrous doesnt come on but fuel does. We come back and check wire and program and head out. This happens 4 times before we change the bottle. Put the new bullet in without changing one thing and bam it lights hooks and goes 10.25 131.
Come right back around and goes 10.22 at 132. Dont know sixty foot on both passes as the 60 foot wasnt working. we were leaving off the transbrake at arouned 4k and had a ramp of 50-100% over a second because the track was horrible.
IN the end, 10.22 at 132 on a 150 on a ramp and on a horrible track. 18 degrees of timing on non projected 7's.3360lb raceweight didnt have time to check plugs as there was only an 1 hour left to test after we figured out the problem.

oh and as for the problem with the bottle, this is where it get wierd. About 6 months ago, last time out with car. we had this exact same problem with the nitrous coming on. It would purge fine, heat fine but when the system was to activate it wouldnt spray. We changed bottles and it worked perfectly. I sent the bottle back to the manufactor and they said they sent me a new bottle. Well that new bottle that i just took out of the bag yesterday and got filled with my other bottle, had the EXACT same problem as the one before.
Makes no sense. either i have bad luck or they sent me the exact same bottle back. Weird.

I really like it, it is a whole different car and actually really fun to drive now.
This tranny is one we had sitting around that my dad used to run in his car. It has been sitting for about 10 years. It was fully built by a personal friend who owns a shop called performance transmissions in sac, now called pts extreme and are really big with the 2004r's and the buick world.
