Default calibrating speedo

im sure this has been posted before but couldnt find anything

how hard is it to calibrate the speedo, i went form 3.42 to 4.11 and when the speedo says 90 im going 75, wouldn't be a big prob but i just put 100 fake miles on the car lol

would i be able to do this myself? or would i be able to take it to a dealership and have them change it without effecting my tune? anyone know what they'd charge?

posted this in the diagnostic and external section but didnt get any feedback

It has to be programmed into the car's pcm, using a handheld tuner, or by a "real" tune (EFILive, HPTuners, etc.). Anyone with unlimited tuning license for 1998 can change it, without having to touch, or change, anything else. Doubtful that any dealership would touch it though. If someone's local to me, and I have license for their year car, I usually do small changes like that for a 30 pack...
