Default PCM controlled A/C 2003 Silverado, is it possible?

I'm not sure this is even going to be possible because there is no A/C request wires in the PCM harness. It looks like I would have to use the original switch on the dash for it to work, because it sends a signal through the serial data line to the PCM. Anybody found a way around this?

Yeah, I'm thinking about changing everything to 2002, but haven't had the wiring diagrams side by side to see how much repinning it would take.
