What header gaskets?
My local part stores are telling me ls1 header gaskets are back ordered and they can't get any. Have you heard of this, maybe they don't know whats going on?
What brand and type should I be looking for?

In almost all cases stock gaskets work best. Unless you have a really bad set of headers with thin flanges I would stay with stock MLS gaskets.

screw all of the above. Go with remflex! These things are the most badass gaskets ive had yet to date! They are 100% graphite, and will crush 50% (1/16th of an inch) to take up any gaps or imperfections/warps in the flange. I couldnt get mine to seal with anything else, slapped these babys on there and its dead silent!
