Question is this right??? e.t vs mph either way nice job!

i went to the track today and i saw a badass bird there either way i looked at it when i got there and it had kyb agx all the way around, frame connectors, lower control arms and a few other goodies for suspension....and he fired it up and o boy it was bad ***. i asked him what he had and he stated all it was ( L.e 1 cam, stall, stock gear, automatic and a slick...)

well i watched him run and that bad boy left hard as hell and drove that motha sucka all the way down with a 12.34 @ 108

now is that right??
did he lift off at top end??
can a bone stock Lt1 with just a cam do that???

then it started to rain so no more passes for anyone....

i wanted to race him and get my *** kicked badly..

That is no ground breaking achievement to be running those times or mph cam only. It was common back in the late 90's and early 2000's to see bolt-on LT1's with a race weight of around 3650 to be turning those times and MPH.

sounds about right to me. probably had a stall in it to cut that low of e.t. with that mph and the way you said it launched. a good 60' in a stalled, 340 rwhp lt1 with suspension should do at least that

Stalled autos can run crazy times for their trap speed.

I say he lifted just before the line.It would affect mph but et would not be affected by much at all

I ran 12.5`s@109 when my car was bolt on with 1.6x 60fts so its not too much off

he prob let off, my last run was a 12.2@106 coasting through the traps, missed 4th so i just coasted the rest of the way. Normally I go through at about 6600rpms in 4th

my car with mods in sig ran a 13.4 at 100mph. so i would say that sounds bout right with suspension stuff for that guy. every car is different. so but that is still good numbers

I managed a 12.34/109 like 8 years ago with a bolt on car, so that sounds about right.

If a car launches well I can see that ET and MPH being right.

I've run 12.3s & 12.4s @ 108 several times on a full pass in one of the many Dusters i've owned, so in NO way are those ET too MPH ratios off, i've also seen many run 12.teens too 12.5s with that MPH on an all out run, your 60ft. will dictate that, my 60fts. adveraged 1.70-1.75 in that car if my memory serves me, its been a good 9 yrs. ago lol.
