Power Antenna
I dont want mine to go up anymore, i only listen to cd's and barely the radio. anyone know if i can just unplug the motor that makes it go up?

Its the pink wire in the wire harness behind the radio. Wire a switch inline with it. I extended the ends of the wire to a switch in my ash tray.
Closed Circuit = Antenna Up.
Open Circuit = Antenna Down.
Closed Circuit = Antenna Up.
Open Circuit = Antenna Down.

I just disconnected mine. It's easier to disconnect it at the antenna than behind the radio imo, unless you want a set up like VIP1 where you can still raise it.
To disconnect it at the antenna, take off the spare tire cover, and the spare tire. You'll see your antenna. Then, just unplug the harness that has a few wires going to it. The other is the signal cable.

Is there a way to kill the power so it wont rise.. and just still work? like pick up signals nearby? just not having it raised.
Id like to have mine stay down but maybe pick up the radio.
