I bought this 95z from a friend who got rear ended (by a cop lol) and now from a dead stop i cant shift it into 1st or reverse. To start the car from neutral i have to start in 2nd and then downshift into first, however once its in there its fine and as long as im moving it will shift freely into all gears and same thing with reverse. Im going to swap the tranny into my a4 car and was wondering if its the tranny thats messed up or the clutch or what? im still a noob when it comes to manual trannies.
