Stock TB is sticking.. How to fix??

Default Stock TB is sticking.. How to fix??

Sticks around 1900rpm.
Is there a way to fix it??

Stock 2002 LS1 TB

Check your driver side floor mat. It's a comon problem.

If that's not it. Take of the intake hose, and check the blade by working the cam by hand.

Not sure the floor mat is in the way..

take the TB off and check for spots the blade may hanging on. also check to make sure the rod the blade attaches to didn't somehow get bent. Taking the TB completely apart is easy and needs only basic tools

Question whether it is the blade (which should not just up
and go bad) or some source of bypass air (PCV, stuck IAC,
manifold vacuum leak, etc.).

If you force it shut by hand that ought to settle the blade
question.
