i dont see why, its just an aluminum block/higher compression version of the 5.3 LM7 and it bolts up just fine. as long as its a LS1 T56 and not a LT1 t56 you should be fine

I thought I read somewhere where the pilot bushing on the T56 would need to be swapped out to be mated with the 5.3. Can anyone confirm this for me? I have my L33 and my T56 came in last week, getting ready for the swap.

Thanks for the info. I've tried searching on google and the performance Truck site, but to no avail. Does anyone have a part # for the pilot bushing I will need for the 5.3L?
