Default Won Street modified at Hot Import nights

Destroyed the ricers at their own show at N.E.D. last night. Ran the 11.50 heads up class. $450 payout --- woo hoo. Top qualified and ended up against a Gutted civic hatch shop car with a huge hair dryer from NJ. Smoked him at the tree and killed him with a 1.52 60ft. It was a great show there yesterday with freestyle motocross guys doing backflips and stuff, drifting--- didint know all those donuts I was doing in the parking lot fri night were considered a sport.

There were about 100x more show only cars than "racers". Never seen so many people polishing cars at one time.

Thanks Anthony for posting that e-mail from HIN the other day. After I paid money, teched in and got a class # they tried to DQ me and make me run Exhibition only due to the V8. Showed them that tech post on my crackberry saying we can race and that was that. The ricers whined and protested right up to and after the final elim but Buddy wasnt having any of it.

Kudos to the NED track crew. They ran a great event. The HIN crew was totally clueless. Hopefully they get their act together.

All in all some pretty cool cars in the show mix. Lots of big dollar exotics and stuff. I must be gettin old --- car shows do nothing for me. Ill stick with the tires burnin , neck snappin, engine screamin stuff.

Paul Major was there with his twin turbo vette monster. He trapped 193 on 1 run that I didnt see and did not complete the 2 runs I did see. Badass Vette.

LOL, i bet that was fun w/ the ricers bitching. you would think they would try to prove something instead of trying to cop out of a challenge

nope. 95% of the cars were 12-14 classes. there were ~6 cars in my class and 4 broke and about 6 outlaw cars -- most broke. gottta love those dependable honduhs.

11.50 class was the only one to finish before the rains and the only one to get paid.

Was not fun when you are outnumbered. I layed very low. on my qualifier one tech guy waved me on and one yelled stop you been dq'd. I kept going and ran the qualifier. did not show for second qualifier and waited till the last minute for eliminations. once they announced I was top qualifier it would be tough for them to dq me.

Saw it run twice in 2 days. I was there fri night and then sat for HIN and never saw it make a clean pass. At Hin they were prepping the track and he got about 1000 ft out before the car got loose. He was still in the 8s.

On friday night though I dont think he made it even 1/8th mile. He was getting ZERO traction.

He's gone 7.20 on a radial!!!!!!!

I was going to enter the 14.00 class with my TBSS. Ended up going to foxwoods instead, my buddy had trouble getting his car running right so we decided not to make the trip.
