Default a4 to m6 swap?

How hard is it to swap a a4 out to a m6. I'm looking to get a f-body but can't find a 6 speed in my price range. I was thinking of just getting an auto and converting it later.

I spent about $3000 total after it was all said and done. I did all the labor myself. Complete rebuild, upgrades, new flywheel, clutch, pedals, etc. It all starts adding up quick. You can do it for about $1200 but that is with all used parts and a high milage trans with unknown internals. I am the original owner of my car and I plan on keeping it so it was worth it to me.

IMO, buy a 6 speed car.

I did it to my LT1, best thing I ever did!! I spent about 1800 3yrs ago. Everything has held up perfect!! Mine looks factory with even the column from an M6.

Just bought a t56 for my LS408. I hated the stalled auto. I just wonder if everything is the same as the LT1 swap? I know hydralics are different but I'm thinking more electrical.
