What's the question? Are you doing street/strip, or full-strip, or other? Car weight, rear tires, etc..

The strongest T56 will be a Viper spec unit. The fastest will the a face plated T56. The cheapest T56 will be something you find used in unknown shape.

Im not following the Fastest thing either. Tick does a good build for a reasonable price, its warrantied and will hold 700rwtq.

I'm kind of a newbe at this, but when I called RPM they said their level V shifts twice as quick as the level IV

The driver shifts decides that.
I got a level 2 from tick and love it.

Give Late Model Racecraft a call and they can help you out as well.

You're in good hands either way. I think I spoke with you on the phone yesterday.

Our Level 2 will hold up to 700 ft/lbs of torque, anything past that and we suggest our Level 3 EXTREME Viper T56. Cryotreating and REM Polishing are nice options if it'll see a lot of track time. They're cheap insurance against stupid part breakage (countershaft, etc).

All properly functioning synchronized transmissions will shift at the same speed - the driver determines that 100% of the time. For quicker shifting, check out our faceplating option (although we don't suggest it for street use).

Our Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit will also increase shift speeds by insuring a 100% disengagement and shortening pedal height. Check out this guy's shifting after installing our kit:

Best of luck.

I was shifting a stock T-56 faster than many shift build units... the transmission will not make you shift faster. Only you can make the transmission shift as fast as it is capable of being shifted. Thats the key.

I recently got a Tick Faceplated, viper spec t-56. Have not had a chance to race it yet... been non stop delayes with what is in front of the transmission... if you catch my drift. But dealing with Tick was a pleasure. Joey said it was take X-amount fo time, and he did not let me down. I even hurried him up and anoyed the **** out of him with texts to see if he was working on it because I was told everything would be done in time, well Joey did not let me down, the trans was on time just like he said. The rest... well... I have not race yet have I? lol Oh well, such is life. But when it comes to Tick, they are top notch!
