Getting new shifter?

I have the stock hurst with L.S.S. I dont have trouble shifting, the gears seem to be far apart, what about a B&M , I want short throws,shifts

I have about the same thing in my car (factory hurst with WS6 store short stick) and I like it....unitl I drove a car with an aftermarket shifter. LOL. The B&Ms are nice real smooth and noticeable difference between it and the stocker, Me personally I like the Pro 5.0 its a bit stiffer feeling than the B&M and the factory hurst, I like the stiff and notchy feeling in a shifter, fits my driving. Im gonna hold off until I get to try one of the new MGW shifters, been hearing lots of good things about them, so Im gonna wait to see what it is like before I buy one.

MGW is the best I've found so far. It combines short shifts with precision and great return spring strength. Quiet as hell too. I was skeptical at first and decided **** it and bought one. Definitely one of the best choices I've made so far on my car. Hope that helps a little.

Okaaayy, im going to research this MGW shifter you guys are talking about, thanks
my problem is i would like to keep the hurst option on the car, but i want a really short shift pattern

I have a Hurst Billit Plus with the chrome stick and T-handle. kinda old school and works great.

i have the hurst and LSS setup....shifts are about 3.5" front to back. for comparison, stock is something like 8"

i can't imagine an aftermarket shifter would improve much on that.

to me its just wasted money to go aftermarket.
