Gm Hot Cam, again
I have a basically stock engine, except bolt ons. I have been reading all the posts about cams trying to do some research before I buy a cam. I was wondering if anyone knows the LSA of the stock 2001 LS1 cam and the LSA on the GM Hot Cam.
2001 Z28 LS1, BOLT ONS

Re: Gm Hot Cam, again
The LSA on the stock cam I beleive is 116...
As far as your choice between the hot cam and the SLP... The Slp has a better idle quality, if this is important.. Between the 2 I would say the hot cam is the better bang for the buck...

Re: Gm Hot Cam, again
Slp claims up to 25 RWHP, I couldnt find any numbers for the Hot cam though. I want a noticeable idle but not so much that I have to reprogramm the PCM, I dont mind drilling the TB hole though either <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />
