hey guys ive been readin through here about what ppl are doin to upgrade there t56 and i need some parts info. the car should be putting down about 700hp and in that range for torque. will be using a twin disk and the car will be raced quite a few times. i need to know what parts i need to upgrade to keep my trans runnin ok. right now it has no problems at all. i was lookin at the stage 2 kit from tick but was hopin to spend a little less on parts. is there anything in the stage 2 that i dont need? wat would you reccomend for my trans?

You are right at the edge of what a stock unit can handle. I personally would suggest going to the Viper out put shaft for a little more peace of mind.

wat i was thinkin was upgrade the forks, keys and get the output shaft cryo treated. i know thats about the limit of the stock t56 but it has 165k miles so i figured it may need more but if thats all you guys think it need thats all ill do.

Having the main shaft cyro'd will do little if anything.

Get the level 2 rebuild from tick and the viper main shaft kit i think you can get from D&D. Or just have tick do the Viper Level 3 build for you and that should be more than enough for you.
