Timing and Spraying?
My timing is currently at 20*. I was told I should not spray with 20* of timing. I was told 26* of timing is ideal. I'm currently going through withdrawals of my NO2 (I feel like a crackhead hahahha!).
My question is: Can I spray with 20* of timing on my H/C car, or should I get it re-tuned and have the timing set at 26*? I currently have a NX Wet set-up, and was planning on spraying anywhere from 50 - 100 shot. I already have TR6 plugs, and usually run 100 octane mixed 50/50 with 91 when I spray.
Thanks

20* is VERY safe. It wouldn't hurt anything. With the fuel you use and the amout of spray, you could easily run 28*. Who ever told you not to srpay with 20* to add more for safty.... Well don't ask them anymore nitrous questions!

Jayson at MTI tuned and built my car. He set the timing at 26* and alittle rich for the spray. I lost maybe 10-15rwhp N/A like this but I got 135rwhp with 100 wet shot. I love it and I`m safely tuned. Check sig for my numbers. I have A4,12-bolt and all! Bottle psi was 900 at the time. Good Luck!

I thought it was supposed to be 2* per 50hp shot size...anyway, my stock timing was at 33*, checked it with 3 different methods, Predator, A-tap, EFILive..Now its at 28*, but going to be about 23* for the 180hp NXL shot. Good luck and have fun..

Yeap, 26* is good with the fuel mix you having. But depending on your AFR also. Do trial and run with ATAP till you reach max, then down tune 1* for safety.
