Default 04 gto alternator in LS1Miata - need help

Does anyone know how to wire in an 04 GTO alternator into a 2000 Miata?

I'm in the final stages of my LS1Miata conversion and the alternator isn't charging the battery. As I look into it; it appears the Alt is controlled by the PCM, but I don't see any pinout points that would work.

Any thoughts & suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks, Ray

If your using the gto pcm, alternator is seperate from it. Like the 98 camaro I believe. White wire goes to 12 volts battery and brown wire goes to a dash bulb or a 470 ohm resistor then 12 volts iginiton.

I have a volt meter versus a light in the dash. Can I assume the white wire to 12v is the only connection needed?

You will still need the brown wire. If you dont want to use a light, then you will need to have a 470 ohm resistor and then to 12 volts ign. The volt meter is wired seperate.
