Default LS7 Questions.

I just installed my LS7 clutch today, and i have a few questions.

1. How long is the break in period? I was assuming it is 500 miles.

2. The clutch engages real close to the floor. Ive heard this is normal for an LS7 clutch and that it will go to normal after some break in. Is this true?

3.What is the proper way to break in the clutch? Drive grand-ma-ish, or slightly aggressive, ect.

Thanks for any help.

Mine started out engaging very low to the floorboard, and within the first 1000 miles it was at a normal mid-point.

I don't want to baby it during break-in, but you also don't want to thrash it. Just drive like a sane person for the first 500 or so miles.

AFAIK, there is no break in for the LS7 clutch.

from what i heard, since its a stock clutch, it doesnt require a break in. however, i would sill be easy on it for the first few 100 miles and let it seat in nicely.

pedal position should rise once you put some miles on it
