So...if you mishift a t56, what breaks in the tranny?

Default So...if you mishift a t56, what breaks in the tranny?

Like the title implies, I went from 2nd to 1st gear last night when i should have been going to 3rd And not the gears all feel notch-ier. But that i mean the actual transition into ANY of the gears feels less fluid than it did before.

I think if i BLEW the transmission then i wouldnt have been able to drive it again, but I'm not very familiar with transmission components...could the sycros be bad now and thats why it doesnt go into gear as nice* as it did before?

did you actually go into 1st and let the clutch out? That would probably hurt the motor more that the trans. did it grind going into 1st?
