Transbrake solnoid spewing fluid?!?
TH400 trans
Like the title says, im not familiar with the solenoid itself. it seems its held in by one bolt with a forked tab.
heres the story. went to the track about a month or two ago. everytime i would stall the car using the brake (using only about 5-7 secs) it seems the fluid would blow through around the base of the solenoid?
could anyone help me understand how to prevent this from happeneing. is it an O-ring around the base of the noid? is the noid screwed in also etc. (before i take things apart and not know what im doing)

thanks fellas, ill give it a go in a week or so. soon as i can get her up on a lift. i just wanted to know what i was in for. it seems though i can actually rotate the solenoid by hand i had a suspicion it was an O-ring in there which now i have confirmation.... now i just have to check things out and bend the tab i guess to make it tighter.
