Nitrous+cam only?
Ok, So I am wondering if I would be better off getting heads later (TrickFlow 215's) for a Nice N/A Import Interceptor or adding a shot of giggle juice rather than waiting for my next car and FI.
Currently Full bolt ons + TrickFlow Trackmaster 228/230 .585 112 cam, Dyno and Tune coming next month.
Is this Cam going to work with a 50-100Shot of N20? better or worse than my TSP 233/239R2 .595.603 112?
Can the Car Handle that shot? no 9" yet or trans upgrade.
Would be nice to have the illuminated Purges though and extra OOmph when I need it!!
Thanks guys.

Not really a nitrous cam, but a 100 shot should still work on it alright. I'd think that 233/239 would be a better choice for nitrous though. As for the rear, they blow up if you look at them the wrong way. The trans should be alright though, but what clutch do you have?

Nitrous generates a lot of extra pressure and heat in the cylinders. Any shot of nitrous will be putting more wear on your motor than if you keep it N/A. You will still benefit from a 100 shot, but don't use it excessively and you'll be alright. Hot lapping with Nitrous isn't a great idea, make sure you take the proper amount of timing out, go to a 1-range colder plug like an NGK TR6, and DO NOT run the nitrous continually for any more than 15 seconds. Also get all the right equipment like an arming switch, a WOT switch, and a window switch.
That clutch should hold up fine too, by the way.

Launching!
Nitrous is Awesome I;m debating on my cam now but it is great first bottle goes fast LOL but then most become "just there when you need it" so your car will be the same, but you just have to make sure that you take the safety precautions, as mentioned above dont forget the Fuel Pressure Switch but I'm sure you'll check the NOS forums. Good luck
P.S. Pony that you up there LOL

That's also what the window switch is for. It doesn't allow the nitrous to spray below X rpm or above Y rpm. That way in case you over rev the motor or go into the wrong gear it isn't still spraying.
