What should I do next?
I have a 2000 trans am, I put a d1sc procharger kit on with the upgraded intercooler. I have also installed bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump. The engine itself is stock the only other mods are edelbrock shorty headers and slp cat back. It has a spec stage 3+ clutch and spec flywheel. Where should I go from here? Pushing 9lbs. boost I know its only the matter of time with my stock bottom end. The guy I bought the d1sc from also had a blower cam and ross forged pistons that I also bought. Should I keep my ls1 block and build it or should I go to a 6.0 iron block? Any ideas?

Make sure you do exhaust before cam. What size are the pistons? if they are 3.905 or so pistons, then build the LS1. If they are 4.0 or bigger then do the 6.0. Seems like the D1SC likes the smaller cubed setups better from everything that I have seen. Also, the additional cubes from the Iron block will come with a weight penatly that will likely cancel out the power gains.

Yeah I have been looking into getting some longtubes, I am just worried about how long my bottom end will hold together. So you dont think I should mess with the internals as of now?

American Racing makes the nicest stuff that I have seen lately but they come at a premium. Kooks is a close second and so are their prices. I think that Texas Speed has a very nice 1 7/8 at a real bargain. I could have them mixed up with another of the big vendors on here though. I want to say that they were under $500 compared to the $800+ price tag on the Kooks and ARH pieces.

Before you go spending all that money on new stuff consider the for sale section on here there's always cherry parts for a fraction of the cost of new...
But that's just me I'm a bargain hunter lol
I'd also say find you a nice set of tsp true duals IMO you can't find anything that sounds better!
Good luck man!
