Yes, good bang for the buck header.
But, before you buy them, look in the Classified Section for used sets of headers, you might be able to get a set of stainless steel used headers for the same price as new coated pacesetters, for example, click on this link.

He is selling some SS QTP's with an ORY w/ a flowmaster merge all for $550.
That is a pretty good deal and the merge really help alot, I have one too.
Yes, pacesetters are good I have them, but stainless steel is better in the long run. You will learn these things the more you mod the car, have fun!

if your gonna keep the car long term pony up for stainless. while pacesetters serve a purpose there is a huge difference between them and a quality header like Kooks. it's always cheaper to do things once.

I put pacesetters on my 2000 SS loved them but the Y pipe kinda sucks so I bought a mufflex one, not saying to buy a mufflex Y pipe but the connection just kinda sucks, you can just cut it off and weld up a flowmaster connection and would probably be exactly the same.

ive had 3 f-bodies with pacesetter and they are good for the price. i just put on TSP pacesetter lt with TSP y pipe package... have to say the y from tsp fits the car a lot better than pacesetters y imo
