Oh ****. I posted some stuff for sale on CL and a guy responded to me saying to cash his check and to give the rest of the money to his shipper? I was like wtf gotta be a fake. How can he screw me if he's trying to buy something from me. I already gave him my name and address.. Please help a member not to get fawked.

Raise your hands here, how many people have actually looked around on CL and seen ads that use STOCK PHOTOS like on Autotrader and eBay? I have, and this is probably another case of it.

Oh ok so they really send a check but when that check bounces and you have already gave them the stuff is where the **** hits the fan? Well I haven't sent them anything and I haven't received anything. I'm just worried that I already gave this dude my name and address I don't want him to like try to use my name or try to anthrax me or some ****.
