Oh ****. I posted some stuff for sale on CL and a guy responded to me saying to cash his check and to give the rest of the money to his shipper? I was like wtf gotta be a fake. How can he screw me if he's trying to buy something from me. I already gave him my name and address.. Please help a member not to get fawked.

Raise your hands here, how many people have actually looked around on CL and seen ads that use STOCK PHOTOS like on Autotrader and eBay? I have, and this is probably another case of it.

Its a fake check that your bank will cash. Then once you give the money to the "shipper", they flee. After a couple of days the bank will realize that its fake, and come after you for the money. And if you already shipped the stuff, then you get fucked twice.

Werd, had 5 people in 3 days hit me with that attempted scam, all the same BS, different people that wanted some parts i was selling...bitches have nothing better to do.
