Forged 347 Build + D1SC Procharger
I have a D1SC setting in my garage floor and I'm tired of looking at it just setting there
This is what I got so far on my forged 347 build I am about to start, let me know what I'm missing or where I can improve the build..
This car is a Street/Strip, Mainly street and some strip.. I want to spin this D1SC to its full potential. Not sure on what numbers it will pull but I am thinking 17-18psi.
347 Build + D1SC Procharger:
Clevitte Main/Rod Bearings
ARP 12-Point Head Kit
ARP Main Stud Kit
GM Gasket's
LS7 Lifters
LS6 Intake
TSP Chromeoly Pushrods
Rollmaster Double Timing Chain
Callies Compstars w/ ARP 2000 bolts
TSP Ported LS6 Oil Pump
Custom Blower Cam
Diamond Forged Pistons -2cc (I have NO Idea what -Dish I need!! help!)
PRC 215cc CNC Heads 62cc Chambers
Siemens 60lb Injectors
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Reg.
Twin Walbro's
Tell me if I missed anything, and Please inform me on what my CR would be.
There used to be a Nice LS1/LS6 CR Chart, I guess it disappeared I wish I had another.

I would either lower the compression with maybe something around an -11cc dished piston or go with some larger chamber heads (317) to get between 9 to 9.5:1 compression. You are ballparking between 10 to 10.5:1 compression with what you have. I don't think pump gas will do very well with the D1SC maxed on that compression. Everything else looks okay to me but im no expert. Just relaying what my past 347 had. Are you upgrading your fuel lines?

And I am going to be running a Alky Control Kit (forgot to add that in there)
And I wasn't planning on upgrading fuel lines since for the power I will be making I didn't think it would be a necessity

Sounds like a great setup but If your planning to run full potential you must lower the compression
Did you buy the heads already?? If not get some 70-72cc that will lower it to 9:5 depends on the head gaskets.
AFR, PRC, ETP, TFS.
EPP Made over 700rwhp on mustang dyno with a setup close to that with M6 and 15-16psi.
Also check thire Blower cam its a proven power cam with porcharger.
GOOD LUCK.

I haven't bought any engine parts yet. Just trying to get a Solid build sheet first

Well I want it in the 9.5:1 range for sure... I was told that these TSP heads http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=993&catid=20 are about the best thing out for a Stock cubed engine(does anyone have any experience with these heads?).. and even though they have small 62cc chambers, it doesn't matter right because I am picking my own pistons not using the stock ones.

Those TSP Are freakin awesome but maybe you should talk to them about they're 6.0 Stg 2.5 72cc heads if the heads still brand new sell them or call TSP they will give you a good deal.
Get -9cc Pistons from Diamond or Mahel with compstar connecting Rods.
EPP blower cam.
You know what just call Bob at EPP Plus and tell him what you want he'll put you on the right way for sure trust me.

I would leave it as is. With the methanol and that moderate boost level you will be fine. I am running 11.3:1 on mine with pump gas and methanol.
Here is a link to my dyno and my combination.

What about this guys.
EPP Blower Cam
AFR 225cc 72cc chambers
Diamond Forged -2cc valve pistons 3.905 Bore
MLS LSX 4.13 Head Gasket, .051 thickness
Should put me at like 9.34:1 CR or run a .045 thick gasket and do 9.47:1 CR
Oh and, The piston deck clearance would be, 0 right?
