Default will corvette oil pan fit in camaro?

just bought a new motor from gm but it has vette oil pan. wouldnt mind swappin it out with mine, except mine threw a rod and most likely destroyed oil pan, windage tray and pick up tube, so I would like to know if the vette oil pan would fit before I try it.

Is the motor going in your FBody? No. Also, how do you not know if you destroyed your oil pan, but you know you kicked a rod?

well, I havent pulled the motor yet, but there is clearly a piece of rod lodged int the block just above the oil pan next to the oil filter. sticking out about a 1/4 inch.

thanks predator-z I know it was a dumb question but I was kinda hopin it might fit. I'm being lazy and didnt wanna swap out oil pans. or spend more money on a new one,

Just take of the old one and check it out thoroughly.
Also you need to swap pickup tube and windage assembly.
