Default Renting a car trailer...

Just wondering if anyone around H-town will rent out a car trailer for a day. I want to go get my car up in Dallas, Tx on July 3rd. I hate Uhaul trailers because the last few car trailers have had issues, so I would rather go elsewhere for a trailer if I can. Any suggestions?

Again, don't want to chance a crappy trailer. Just wanted to know if anyone used any other company and had good results. Tough to do looking through a phone book but thanks.

Before I bought a trailer I used to rent from Aztec on 34th. They aren't the nicest looking trailers, but were solid and I took them all over with my Jeep on them with no problems. They are pretty heavy so you want to make sure your truck is up for it. There is also a place near 290 and 34th. I never used them, but they seemed reasonable and it sounded like they had good trailers.

Last time I tried Aztec, the said they didn't rent car haulers anymore. There is a place on 45N that rents them. Decent trailer and a fair price, but they don't have very many. I can't remember which shop it is exactly, but there is a string of 3 or 4 trailer dealers on 45N just North of W Little York. Only one rents trailers.

I used to work at Uhaul and they have some really shitty trailers and some really good/new ones. If you go there youll have to get an AT which is an auto transport... our cars will fit on them, put mine on one before. Just be really picky with them... if they try to give you a crappy one just tell them you want a different one, you can choose which one you want. Just check the tires and make sure the coupler is seated well and doesnt have to much play in it... you can lift up on the bottom of the coupler where the head of the bolt is and that should tell you if its seated well.

The Trailer Man at Kuykendahl by Spring Cypress. He had awesome customer service when I rented a trailer from him last year. Good selection, good prices.

Countryside Trailer Sales‎ (281) 353-7858) on 45 in spring has a nice open car hauler for about 50 bucks a day.

Hardly anyone else in town RENTS a good non-uhaul car hauler.... already went through this.
