Got er fired up tonight.
Well about 9pm on the dot, I dunno the sun just went down after got the fluids in the car. I get in and turn the key,,,,,,,, nothing. I'm like ok wtf did i miss. That was my DOAH moment. Anyways, after I pushed the clutch in and tryed turning the key and she fired right up. First start it never died, picked up an idle and held it for like 15 mins, I wasnt counting. Killed it, then started it back up 5 mins later, no problem picked up an idle again. Thanks to everyone for there help.

Congrat's on the first crank start. Not like old school where we had to set the distributor and points, backfiring fire out the carb etc. I hope mine fires first click too. Should since it's already broken in on the engine dyno.

Hey Josh, sorry I didnt get back to ya earlyer, my minds going a million miles an hour. I am currently un-employed. Im not sure if I wanna milk it, or really get after it and find another job. I know one thing for sure, Im tired of what I was doing for the past 3 years. With this economy going down the ******* more and more, the part of oilfield Im in right now isnt worth 2 cents.
