Default Can t56 handle power shifting on spray?

Hey guys I'll be getting a t56 soon and I want to know if the stock trans can handle high rpm powershifts on spray (150 shot with a window switch) or am I just asking for a blown trans?
And if the stock trans can't handle it what about a modded on like the "Son of Transzilla" or similar, thanks in advance for any help.

Well spraying what? A stock motor+shot, H/C+shot, or a stroker+shot? I am planning a spraying my 408 but don't know how long it will hold up in my scenario with 700+whp. But as long as your making under 600whp with it, I personally think it will be good for a bit. As long as you have a billet 3/4 slider, bronze shift pads, and the basic upgrades. I know Six Speed Inc had a stock gear set in there 8 second car when they where still around. How bad they would mess those gears up though, who knows. But I do know that they were revving the snot out of the stroker they had in it.

It's safe to say that anytime you powershift one of these transmissions, you're taking the life of that transmission into your hands. Simple **** ups on a shift can wreck it at any power level. Just something to keep in mind. And even the best drivers out there **** up sometimes.

Yes it can, but as mentioned, even the best of the best will eventually break when you are speed shifting and abusing the tranny with that type of power. Got to keep in mind that while teh '56 is a STRONG tranny, it is still just an OEM tranny Not saying that you can't make it stronger and shift better (you can) just saying that for what it is (an OEM tranny) it a hell of a tranny that can take alot of abuse.
