AC stops blowing cold after 2 miles
I've been having problems with the AC on my 1994 Pontiac Firebird. When I turn the car on the air blows cold and after 2 miles it stops blowing cold (and if i turn the car off and on it works again). So I decided to take it to firestone and they told me it was cause my compressor was leaking, so they replaced the compressor. When that didn't fix the problem, they thought maybe it had to be some electrical stuff and so they decided to replace the computer and that still didn't fix it. The auto tech doesnt have a clue what could be the problem.
Has anyone had a similar problem before?

I hate to tell you this but it's probably your fan relay that's in the fuse box. I had something like this happen in my Roadmaster and it was because the fans weren't kicking on. Something about the A/C switching from high to low or something. If you run your A/C and the accumulator is iced up, then the compressor is working.

it will come on if it is to a certain point. you are wrong bout that. there is a sensor that when it reaches a certain low it won't allow it to turn on. i think if the pressure is 15 then it will allow it to come on but it will quick cycle.
