***Headers
Hi Guys,
I don't post over here much but I thought I would just drop in and put some info up.
We have been trying hard to cut the Corvette Tax while still giving our best products.
First of all, you can get our LG Street Series full Stainless steel Long tubes with Mid pipe and X pipe all included for $995 without cats. And the results are about double what you are stating.
The Street series are good on all Corvettes that are not going to the MAX on the cam, heads etc. Great hp increase if you are looking for the cost effective power gain. They have a lower cost stamped X pipe and standard collectors rather than Merge collectors. Great value.
The point of adding any power increasing modification is to ADD POWER And if that is the point, then have at it and enjoy these cars before they are all outlawed anyway.
Then if you want more power then add either our 1 7/8 Super Pros or our 1 3/4 Super pros. Both are on sale for $1495 for the off road version.
All of our Super Pro Headers have our new Exclusive Merge Collectors which is a duplicate of the one used on our Race Cars, and is no longer just a stamped piece but rather a duplicate of the true race collector. Not to be found on any other header.
And from our customer dyno tests and comparisons, our customers are very happy with the results of all LG Super Pro Headers.
Enjoy your Vette while it is still allowed on the roads. (saving the planet by parking them is in the future ).
Thanks. Give us a call and we can help you out.

What kind of gains do you see on the 1 7/8" over the 1 3/4"?
I have a 2000 FRC and plan getting one of the pro series along with the Big 3 catback.. and eventually a GX cam + AFR heads..
Would I be better off with the 1 7/8" or the 1 3/4"?

What is the difference between the street headers and the LG Pro series? Why the $500 difference? Also which do you recomend for a basically stock C-6 ZO6?
Do you think these are better than American racing headers?

I think the only difference is the street series match up to a 2.5" system whereas the Pro series match up to a 3".
And I remember reading many times that the C6Z gained almost no power adding headers..

Here's a dyno sheet from LG on the Z06. Looks like the only addition to the headers was a filter...

Well, it said that the baseline was pre-tuning. And it was already making a lot of power.
On a stock setup, the difference + tuning isn't going to be 50HP. Keep in mind that mods help other mods. If that car was already making 450+ to the wheels, it obviously wasn't nearly stock.
I think that you could probably see 20-25HP over stock with tuning. So, really a stock Z06 with CAI, these LG Pros and a tune should see about 390-400RWHP. Maybe...
Found the right comparison.

This is what you can expect! About 30HP with a tune.

The original poster that questioned the HP increases was referring to a C6Z, not a C5....A stock 2009 C6Z has 512HP at the crank, so 450ish isn't that hard to imagine at the rear wheels...(Stock).

Sorry!
From your original post:
"....And I remember reading many times that the C6Z gained almost no power adding headers.." I'd have to research the C5, but I think there's gonna be a substantial increase in HP with headers on any stock Corvette..

Right I know on the C5/C5Z there's a good performance gain by adding a set of these headers, but I remember seeing multiple threads where a C6Z06 gained something like only 15HP.

So which one are you talking about then? First you said a C6Z and I posted a dyno sheet that shows a tremendous HP increase with headers. Then you said no, you were talking about a C5. It really doesn't make a difference. Either car will see significant gains over stock with the addition of long tube headers.
