Gauge Cluster Help
My buddy took off his needles to color them and forgot where they were, any ideas on how to get those to line back up correctly? (this is on a 95 z28 camaro)
and he also had questions on which bulbs to replace when doing the cluster color change. If anyone could supply a picture with the bulbs you need to replace that would be awesome!
Thanks,
-Ty-

This is off the top of my head, so some folks may have some good tweaks to this process. Also, if you have a code scanning tool that will read the PCM, that will make some of these a heck of a lot easier to dial in perfectly.
Step 1: Smack the crap out of your buddy.
Step 2: Get a new, smarter buddy.
Step 3: Don't let your new buddy ever touch your car.
Step 4: Run the engine until its up to temperature. While its running, put the coolant and oil pressure needles on so they are pointing at 12:00. Put the voltage needle on so its indicating 13.2 volts.
Step 5: Run the gas out of the tank until the gague light comes on. Adjust the needle so its just a couple of ticks ahead of "E".
Step 6: Turn the accessories on with the engine off. Set your speedo and tach to 0. You may also want to tweak your oil pressure a bit also.
Step 7: Get a GPS and drive down a straight road and use it to calibrate your speedo. This is the most accurate method to calibrate your speedo assuming you are traveling in a straight line.
